It is a new author to me and I bought this book because I like psychological thrillers. In my opinion this one is not the best in its category.There are too many exes (ex- wives, ex-husbands, ex- girlfriends and ex-boyfriends). Their convoluted relationships and emotions are described repetitively to exhaustion and become boring after a while. I started flipping pages when I run into next paragraphs of inner monologues repeating again what I already knew. Instead of rooting for the main heroine, Sara, I was getting more and more annoyed with her. The plot itself is OK. I liked the general idea of ending but it left many of the of small facts not explained so I was not fully satisfied with it.Bottom line: it is OK three stars psychological thriller but it did not keep me glued to the pages.PS There is an error in a blurb of the book. The toy was a Rabbit and not a Teddy Bear. And this rabbit is kind of important (!) There were just too many relationships. Too much repeated over and over. 25% into the book, i was so bored, i just wanted everyone to die! I didn’t care about these people. I had to skim through the book. There was no suspense, no wondering who was the good guy or the bad guy. I was just annoyed with everyone. I was tired of the way they kept accusing each other, kept ignoring each other. The ending didn’t seem shocking at all, just sort of thrown in. The ending just seemed too convenient and not everyone is friends. So happy this book is over!
